    Norton Antivirus, no cd key

    Hi,
first of all, im NOT asking for a CD key. My mom recieved laptop for Christmas, it came with Norton Antivirus. However, it hasnt been activated. Its asking for CD key. Im mad that people at HP forgot to enter it, or maybe they didnt on purpose. Anyway,,, my question is, what should i do? Who should I contact about this dilemma?
    thanx in advance

It probably only came with a 45 day trial of the software. To continue to run it, you will need to buy it.

Contact the people from whom it was purchased from. They have to supply a CD Key (if they sold the unit with a fully licensed copy). Sometimes they just install it and the owner is responsible for buying it if they wish to continue to use it after the trial expires.

    Good luck!
