    Good case for cutting into?

    Any suggestions on good cases to buy if you are planning on cutting them up? I mean I want to cut a custom shape into the side and window it.

    But I don't want a cheapo one.

    I heard good things about Antec cases.

    I just bought a Coolermaster Wavemaster....pretty good box, plenty airflow (3 fans)
    It would lend itself to being chopped.

    GO HAWKEYES! We almost beat the Illini... man that was a good game...

    Anyway, I'm planing on custom modding my case to. It's just a cheap case that looks ugly, so I'm gonna mod in two 120mm fans on the side, right above the PCI and AGP slots, and then do a custom window with that metal mesh stuff over top of it. Maybe even cut a design into the mesh. I just gotta figure out what kinda design I'm gonna cut...

    Most newer ones are okay, aluminum especially. The older ones are just too thick.

    If you get a cheaper one and screw up a side you can buy another to replace it with less out of pocket.

    Aluminum is much easier to cut then steel. You can even use wood working tools on aluminum.

    Well I do work in a metal shop, I cut steel for a living
