Radiator positioning help
I'm trying to add water cooling to my machine, but I'd like it all housed internally and I'm not quite sure how to get it all in there. I have a CoolWave radiator that's similar in size to a CDROM drive, but with about half as much again in terms of length (depth). I've not decided on a pump yet, but they're not that small and the reservoir is a modded Aqualia reservoir that's exactly the size of a CDROM drive. My box is all clear perspex and has 2 HDD's a DVD and CDROM, there's also a Zalman VGA cooler that takes up a fair bit of space. Anyway... has anyone managed to get something similar into a fairly standard size box? Where's the best place to position the radiator when there's no room at the front? Does anyone have any photos or useful links?
Well... not an overwhelming response. Anyhow if anyone cares, I've positioned the rad externally and on the opposite side to the MB. It will make getting at the machin harder, but it will be managable as all of the panels are removable. I think it looks quite good in this position and it doesn't obscure the interesting areas of the machine.
This is far from finished yet, but I reckon it's starting to shape up nicely - pciture attached.
