strange problem with Word

recently I have been using a couple of word documents which include a couple of JPEG's.

When I scoll down with the text, and then scroll back up, the screen won't refresh the images, so all I have is a blank space where the images where.

If I minimize the screen, and re open it, the images are back.

I have only noticed this in word and not in other applications.

My video card is the Radeon 9600 PRO so thats not the problem.

Any idea's because it's annoying when i'm trying to make simple flyers and I can't see the images.

office 2000 sp3
office xp sp3,then 3 updates
office 2003 sp1, then some

yep

all the updates are downloaded automatically.

I will double check when I get home, but last week ran an update check and everything was in order

See if those options are set:

Tools > Options > View tab >

1) under "Show" > uncheck "Picture Placeholders"
2) under "Print and Web Layout options" > check "Drawings"

Tools > Options > Print tab

3) under "Include with documents" > check "Drawing objects"

That also sometimes happens when you're low on system resources.
