    memory timing help

    abit 3rd eye av8
    a64 3000+ 90 939 (winchester?)
    corsair twinx3200cpt (1G)

    I'm still learning on how to o'c this setup, i see many mentioning messing around with the memory timings like 2.5-3-3-11 1T


    I get the 2.5 (cas) and the 1T, i believe the 11 is referring to Tras but what about the 3's? What do they represent?

    normally, i try to OC with the stock SPD settings first then I start tweaking timings after that. if you lower (tighten) your settings before you OC, you'll probably end up with a lower OC than you thought you would get.
