I don't CL drives, and I've seen alot of problems with them posted around.
There's an Acer 36X at www.mwave.com for $39.90

My Memorex 48x cost 69.95 with one $30 rebate and has the forward button for Music CD's, reads all cd media, Volume for headphones and is UDMA....I like it

I've seen several bad reviews on Creative Labs CD drives mostly concerning very slow response times. I have a Memorex 40X,$69.00 regular price that you can find a lot of times with a $30.00 rebate. I'm not saying it's the best but it does a good job for me.
