Journal software
I want to keep a journal about what I learn about life and what happened.
Is it best to do this on paper or are there good online tools or software ? Does Microsoft have stuff for this?
The thing about pen and paper is you can draw diagrams for concepts on there.
But then again I can type much faster than I can write and my handwriting is awful!

Hail to the Victors
A couple of things.
MS Word allows pictures, diagrams...and, of course, free typing.
Or...you could just pick up a tablet PC, and get the best of both. Handwriting and typing ability...
Or a good PDA, for that matter.

I have a PDA. Windows version. I like the portability aspect but they're just a little too bulky and trying to carry that with my iPod, mobile phone and wallet in jean pockets isnt easy!!

Stark Raving MOD
I just googled for "import pocket pc notes" and found this freeware:

You can also look into OneNote from MS, but it's around $100.
