    WMP 8.0 Text

I think I enlarged my text quite some time ago in WMP 8.0.

I'm not sure how I did it, and now I would like to reduce the size, because the bottom of letters such as "y" and "g" are cut off in the Compact Mode.

    Thanks for any help.

WMP uses the same settings as IE. Use View > Text size.

I changed, on the IE6 Toolbar:

View -> Text Size -> Smallest.

The text size in WMP 8.0 remains the same.

I can reduce the size in "Display Properties", which helps WMP,
but makes all other text too small.

    Is there no happy compromise?

    Thanks.

Well, I' using WMP 10.0. There is no setting that I can find for text. Are you using a special skin or theme?

I'm just using the regular MS skins and themes.

There is no setting in WMP 8.0. that I can find, either.

The only way I can see to reduce the text is by right-clicking the Desktop -> Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> DPI setting.

However, when I change the setting from Large size to Normal size, it makes it hard to read the other text, even though WMP is improved.

My Screen resolution is set at 1024 by 768 pixels on a 17" monitor.

The WMP Visualizations seem to be causing the issue, but if I turn them off, I get no song title or artist in the "Compact" skin mode. (but it does work fine for the "Full" mode.

I wouldn't change the DPI setting. Use Display > Appearance. If you have XP, click Advanced.
