    wow what just happened

    My PC just crashed bigtime.. blue screen with abunch of garbage
    when i rebooted it said HD failure. tried again all is good..

    when windows booted up my new firewall Kerio said something about memory dumps.. what the heck is this??

    Download your hard drives utility and test your HD. Might want to backup your HD

    Oh no thats not what I wanted to hear
    I have 2 HD a maxtor as a master 3yrs old an and a WD 2 months old. I scanned for virus's and spyware nothing was found..

    It would be definetly a good idea to backup your data, but you might also try running some diagnostics with your RAM.

    Would have been a lot more helpful if you would have told us what the blue screen said. Instead of calling it a bunch of garbage.
    You are not giving us much info here. The problem could be from a powersupply going bad, ram going bad, motherboard bad, a driver having gone bad, nic gone bad. There is a reason for that "garbage".

    Maybe you misunderstood him and the blue screen error message was "A BUNCH OF GARBAGE".
