I didn't bother uploading my specs as it was taking forever as it was and I didn't know if steam was going to lock and crash as I was wary after having instal issues with the run of the mill installer (oh, you can decide to not have CS:Source, but then HL2 won't finish installing ). So since I was on dialup, I fall into the 10% who didn't bother.

Wonder how much bandwidth of that nature cost?

Interesting stats. If it wasn't for the GF4 MX series, ATI would be WELL ahead of nVidia. The 9800 is miles ahead of the 5900...

    ATI Radeon 9800 Series: 117,128 11.21 %
    NVidia GeForce FX 5900: 8,579 0.82 %

That looks like an unbelievable huge margin, as it shows TNT2 cards outpacing the 5900 series by twice as much... Wonder how accurate these stats are.

Looks like AMD is right on Intel's heals as far as HL2 gaming community is concerned.

You beat me to the post Ramon, I was just about to say the same about AMD and Pentium, that the gamers are definitely beggining to show a preference for AMD.

Also the stats themselves are interesting. If the stats are correct, I am sure there are a lot of people out there that are gonna struggle to play the game on the PC's.

I don't know the full minimum spec's required, but all the PC's with almost no free HDD space, and the real slow CPU's are going to hit problems before they even get started.

One thing is for definite, the Computer stores are having a good year because a lot of heavy duty games coming out, and most games freaks having to upgrade to be able to enjoy the games.

and they are now over the million.

Not a bad week for them really.

I think that their investment has been paid off already.
