Moving the mouse resumes from ScreenSaver...

I don't want this. I don't want when moving the mouse to activate windows from the screensaver.

Is there any option to disable this function as it irritates me everytime I hit the mouse by mistake to trigger windows back?

    Thanks

I don't think so, but I am often wrong so don't give up yet

you could just turn the mouse upside down, thats what I do.

I have a screen saver that allows me to specify if the mouse will end the screen saver or not. You must press ESC to end the one I use.

I do not think any native windows screen savers allow this option.

I bought Serene Scene Aquarium to use. This is the saver I am talking about.

i can no longer find the website. Maybe it is no longer sold.

    Thank you rraehal.

Turning the mouse upside down would be the best solution I guess. Pitty and Sad.

But It actually sucks everytime somebody is moving the desk by mistake to trigger the Desktop.

I will wait another 2-3 days, and if nobody knows something, I will give up....

As an alternative, does the screensaver you use have a password facility? If so, enable it and set a password. At least then if you move the mouse it will only display the password prompt and not reactivate windows until you enter the password.

    Thank you Michael.

I do this, but this is not the point. It really annoys me when it resumes from the screensaver so easily.

As I said I will give up really soon searching for an answer.

The system will resume from screensave mode on receipt of an input. The Mouse is an input device so I don't see any way to disable this specific situation without disabling the mouse.

I think this can sometimes be disabled in the BIOS' "APM" settings. Have a search around the BIOS options for a reference to "resume on mouse" or something similar.
