That’s what I’ve heard too happy. I’ve seen the flakiness in action on the dfi. The nf7 series is a much more stable board, and yes tic-tac does make some great bioses for it. I tell ya what though, my jaw hit the floor when I saw all the options in the dfi bios. I didn’t get to poke around to much, but enough to see there was a lot I didn’t know about. I kinda felt bad for my friend, way to much stuff in the bios for him to mess with. I told him to get a nf7-s. He was like, it seems everybody has that board. I responded by saying, don’t you think there’s a good reason for it.
The only benefits the dfi has over the nf7 is the ram voltage and chipset voltage, that’s it. If volt moding comes into play, there’s no question about which board to get.

I'm a thinkin of just getting whatever turns up in neweggs refurbish bin first (it will make the decision easier). And, I won't feel quite so bad when it goes up in smoke.
My soldering iron's hot, I almost voltmodded the A7n8x, but my sis needs a new comp so this asus & unlocked barton is probably going to her. (everyone needs 2.4Ghz to play sims)
Enjoy!
(Edit) Mr. Wu (ex Abit chief designer) now works for DFI. I'm just itchin to get my hands on one of his boards in sockett 939.
(Edit ) I was so anxious to go fast again I didn't look at the steping. I played around a little over the weekend and this mobile is not wanting to go over 2.6 even at 1.8 volts. I'll try a little harder later.

As more people move to the 64s some toys will get cheaper. The price was the primary reason I went Asus a little over a year ago. (I didn't know of the advantages back then).
Enjoy!
