I don't know of any for sure, but i'm not a super gamer. I've just heard different things. If you tried running DoomIII with Ultra settings, it would probably hit the swap file a lot.
the point is, don't spend money on a new hdd with the hopes of increasing framerate. you will be disappointed.

Correct, if you noticed, all the new games example HL2
takes FOREVER!!!! to load at first of each scene, that's because is loading all the maps and textures, etc to RAM and Video RAM, then it becomes really fast when it's actually in play.
I was tweaking my mb ram timings last night. I might rebench this weekend. I need to get some sleep, though. I had a Red Bull and a Diet Dr. Pepper and I'm still zonked.
hey midknyte...how are those drivers performing. Are they giving you a performance increase over the last sets you were using. Any other problems with them? Might give em a try...see if I can up my scores a little
The 75.90s (and XG75.90s) gave me around a 100 point increase. You just need to contend with the idle temperature problem. I just used it for benching. I usually run the 71.20s.
