I need to talk to a firewall genius

Ok, here is what we are trying to acomplish. Our client wants to buy a Watchguard Soho 6 firebox.

Here is the problem. They currently share a router and IP scope with another company. They also sometimes access each others networks. Now the problem is, for us to setup the firewall to work with the router, I have to give the external interface a private IP, as well as the trusted interface.

I know I can make that work, however, I don't know how to make the file sharing between the two offices work again. I am under the belief that the firewall will see the IP address range coming from the external port, and think its a spoof, and block it.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Thanks

Even the free version of Zone Alarm would let you make "them" a trusted memeber and allow access. Would imagin you should be able to do the same thing.

yeah, one would think, but there is no place to add a trusted zone in one of these.
