    scott,

any idea as to how google calculates when you get your gmail invites? Is it just a time-based thing, or is it based on how much you use gmail?

I had Gmail for a couple weeks before they sent away. In the "inbox" there will be a highlighted section of text that says, "You have X Gmail invites".

    Glad to spread the wealth.

I almost turned down my invite, but then couldn't resist the 1GB storage over my weak 2mb hotmail storage.

    Thanks Scott, got it.

The site seems a bit buggy and ive not been able to log in yet. Does it work okay with firefox, anyone know?

I couldnt follow any links until I cleared my cookies. After that I was finally able to get to the login screen but it wont let me login.

    Will try IE.

It works, must require a bit of time for the system to set it up or something. Got home this evening and tried and no problem.

    Thanks MJC

Perfect timing, my old hotmail acct just deactivated on me ....it was on about 10,000 mailing lists anyways.
