    Windows 64 bit

    Hi

    Just got a A64 processor, is it worth downloading the 64 bit windows? is it any good?

    it is still beta. you also need to find 64-bit compatible drivers. unless you want to be a guinea pig, stick with the normal 32-bit winxp for now.

    Or you could pick up a 64-bit Linux distro.

    I agree with Johnny...the XP 64 bit is beta still, if you have a spare hard drive, or if you want to create a few new partitions, try out a 64 bit flavor of linux. It'd be nothing but a great learning experience.
