Odd release dates
I've just taken a look at the Van Helsing website which lists a DVD release for the 19th of October, this is after I've just picked up a copy of the movie DVD for my brother (official, not a cheap copy or anything).
What gives? Is the site incorrect and the american audience is required to wait more than a month after australia if they want to buy this film on DVD?

If rental sales are still going good they want to max it out while they can.

So its been available for rental in the US for a while then?
In Australia we generally get the rental and retail at the same time, no silly rental windows letting the movie companies squeeze a bit more out of us.
