    DDR2 ram

    can someone explain what the advantages to this are? Is it Intel only? Specific mobos for this type of memory? Is it worth it? Pleaze enlighten me

    it will basically do exactly the same thing as normal DDR ram but is made a bit different so it can handle highed speeds and yes both Intel and AMD will take advantage of this new RAM, lol it would be kinda stupid not to

    yes it would be very stupid not to, but if DDR2 were to become the next big thing in RAM, and only one company had it for themselves, they would create a niche, thus bringing in more business. So if it was only Intel or only AMD, they would stand to make a lot of money....respectivly
