    The gas game

Well last year gas prices for premium around my neck of the woods were about $1.97 a gallon for 93 octane. Now they are anywhere from $2.27 - $2.35 and nobodies complaining because alot of people were told they prices would rise over $3.00.
But now they have managed to slip in a 17% jump in gas prices in under a year and have the people thinking $2.27 is a great buy as opposed to the scarier $3.00.
So once again we have been duped by the oil government.

I'm looking for a Hummer. I should be able to find one for under a $100 any day now. I don't want to drive it, I just want to park it in my driveway.

You have to pad the pockets of the people who get you in office.

Gas prices have never dropped to previous prices once they jump up real high. They will go down a little someday but never as much as it went up. It's a dwindling resource, controlled by robber barons and more in demand then ever thanks to greedy people and their SUVs.
