    Foxconn and Hipro

Is Foxconn the same as Hipro?

Are you nuts? Did you ever see the Edit button? You're quoting your own posts, ferchrissakes.

Both Foxconn and Hipro are decent power supplies. Hipros are the better of the two. If you're looking for an excellent power supply at low prices, there's no such thing. You get what you pay for.

Not nuts...I meant to do that to emphasize that I was refering to my original question. Now that I think about it, it don't really make much sense now do it...

Thanks for the info though Bill.

    Foxconn is also Allied/Supercase/Apex.

I have an Allied 450W PSU with a weird fan config.. the exhaust fan is fine, but there's a fan that seems to just be stuck on there in the front of the PSU.

It is an awesome power supply for the $33 I paid at newegg.

It isn't available anymore, it looks like its replacement unit has a normal exhaust fan and intake fan config (bottom of PSU).

It was probably discontinued because of its horrible fan styling.
