clear coat?

After covering the insides of the case with enemal spray paint do u guys think i should finish it off with clear coat? I mean the paint is pretty hard by itself except what i learned with it is that if u put one good layer on another good layer after a day the last layer will not be as hard.

I've painted a couple cases and never bothered with a clearcoat. Then again, I only use engine enamel because it tends to be a bit tougher then everyday run-of-the-mill spray paint.
