AMD Athlon 64 3200+

I am planning to build a server with the named CPU:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+

This would have been my first 64 bit build and I am wondering if anyone could offer any information as to how this CPU does thermally with a stock AMD Heatsink/fan setup and the AMD stock thermal pad.

In other words how hot does it get?

Mine is around 30C, and it is Oced to 2.3Ghz

same mine is about 30*c a64 3400+ oced @ 2.4 , right now im pushing it at the moment...

is a decent tutorial but dont forget to get a good PSU for that thing...

The A64 architecture was years and years in the making. They have a pretty big ceiling before heat becomes an issue, so you shouldnt have to worry about the stock fan not being sufficient, even if you plan to oc it a little.

It's pretty much the best affordable CPU out there right now.
