In my computer icon there is no CD rom. I loaded the mitsumii drivers and it still doesn't show up. I ran a virus scan and it told me that it had a virus in memory. The problem is that I can't install new virus scan because I can't get the CD rom to work. could this be because I have a virus in memory.

...and are you using this same computer to post this present query? You can download a trial version of most anti-virus software, and probably the virus software you are presently trying to install.

Another method that might work would be to use a write protected Windows boot disk that has cdrom support and a few DOS tools, then copy the cd to the hard disk using a DOS command - whether or not you can install the program in Windows depends on the type of virus.
