    control pannel->add remove programs->windows setup.

    there is no option to remove internet explorer...
    The one option available is of "internet tools".

    But removal/installation of internet tools does not affect internet explorer.

    Have heard that IE 5.0 is part of MS Office 2000 . so if i re-install office 2000 , will it effect IE ??

    Please suggest.

    you cannot uninstall IE, all i know is that it will go back to to previous version (incase you had upgraded to newer build)

    But you can always use a tool like Ieeradicator to completely remove it from the system.
