    MEMORY DUMP helP

    Hi , iam rUnning windows server 2003 had no problems at all. But I turned on My pc this morning and i got a message Of a Memory dUmP anda it said that a Regestry key "HKEY /CURRENTUSER/software" Might be currupted on incomplte .. something like that.

    What is this due To? Are tehre any tools or commands to fix, clean the registry?

    ps. mY pc is fine now but i dont know if this will happen again .ahhhh!

    first off, your grammar and capitalization leave something to be desired...

    if it only happened once, and you have restarted several times, i would lean toward the assumption that it was a fluke thing...however, if it happens repeatedly, then there would be cause for concern

    If you want to take precautions, do the standard things:

    Scandisk
    Defrag
    Spybot
    Adaware

    - a good registry cleaner is registry tuneup, or jv16 power tools

    Now you know why we need "God Mods". As tempting as it is, don't do that again. You should have put that energy into providing links instead of denigrating the user.

    my aim was not to insult the user, but to inform him/her that the random capitalization in their post made it difficult to read, and would only function to hinder people from helping them. I have seen similar posts throughout this forum from individuals with/without moderator status who have also asked people to be more legible in their posts..
