A new type of case mod

Well, here is it with much anticipation... I took a crappy case (originally tan-ish color, no window) I also used body filler (yes normally for use on a car) on the top to blend into the fan and the front of the case as well as the edges. After priming the whole case I painted it metallic blue, except for the back and the drives, and then clear coated it for extra shine. Now it is P.I.M.P.
    Anyway, on with the pics.

There they are, now I get to do more crazy things with that body filler, w00t
    Peace out

Looks really nice. What did you use to keep those radii consistent?

1st off, I just guessed, I was using a power sander. 2nd, it's for the cold cathode that will be going in there.

In regards to the body filler....did you use the kind with the fiberglass reinforced material in it or was it the kind without it?

I believe it was just a standard lightweight filler without the fiberglass. It's hella strong without it anyway, not to mention pretty heavy too. The reason I did this case mod was because i just took a auto body class at the local technical college. So i decided to paint it in the same manner as a car too. So it was all good fun. I'm going to try some more advanced designs very soon too.

Alrighty. I always wondered what would work better. I kind of figured the fibers would be a problem when it came time for the final sanding.
