need new fan for 9800xt
After a week i got the card, the fan started making more noise that sound like its hitting something. If i push the fan lightly it'll stop making the rattling sound. When i start up a 3d game it gets even louder and faster. I dont' feel comfortable with tis rattling going on! Theres nothing like wires getting in the way or anything. I been looking for an after market fan to try out but can't find any. I don't want to send it in for repair either, but if i have too then i will.
Anyone know of any aftermarket fan or heatsink replace? thx in advance!

I'm using the VGA Silencer on my 9800 Pro and I love it. It works great easy install and keeps my temps down on the video card and I believe my case is cooler also.

The VGA silencer looks like a pain in the *** to install. Is it??
And what kind of clock speeds are you getting with the VGA silencer.

It was easy to install. IMO Only problem I had I forgot to plug the fan into the card first so I had to take back off and plug it in then put the fan back on. I have only clocked mine slighty but it stays cool. The temps stay at about 40 just surfing the net and about 46 with need for speed, far cry, etc.
You do lose a pci slot though so if thats a problem don't get one. I only use one pci slot so it doesnt interfer with me.
I would like to see them change it so you can get to the high low fan switch. Like long enough wire to mount it on the front. I usually just leave it on low and it works good there.

I built this myself and it's way better than VGA Silencer or Zalman.
