    Video card placement.....

I am working on another mod pc, well, here is the nightmare i face....

i want to move the placement of the agp video card...as everyone knows it is plugged in/mounted 90deg to the motherboard....but I want to either mount it on the wall of the case or inline with the motherbard.....what I am putting it in is pretty slim......

what i need to know is=

    A) a AGP cable so that i can place the video card where ever...

    or

    B) or is there a card adapter where i can mount the video card inline, or next to the mobo?

for whatever your trying to do. the only way i can think of, will be a motherboard with on board video. that way it will take even less space. and i'm perty sure you can find one cheap...

Okay, here you go. Can be done but it will set you back $20 or so.

Neat idea, i had never thought of that. Guess somebody else had though.

Thats seriously messed up. The heatsink of the card would be touching the PCI slots...

Btw it'll set you back $25 or more due to "Minimum order $25.00"

    heat

personally i wouldnt do something like that due to the fact that it will make cooling the video card trickier seing as the fan wont draw as much cool air being so close to the mobo

also ud have to recut the back of ure case to mount the car or it will just be wobbling there

cool idea though hope it works out for ya but i sure wish i could get some more input on the aquarius III water cooling systems pipe size

    not a problem

there will be no problem with the mounting and
I got the mounting of it down to being pretty solid....

on these riser cards i can pic the distance away from the mobo to. so cooling will notbe a problem....

almost got my system in the new box and will post pics soon
