Whats a good graduation present?

My roommate who is 30 years old is graduating in June. He will be getting a B.S in sociology. What's a good gift to give to him? He's a refined man with somewhat expensive taste. He buys expensive clothes and jewelry. I guess he believes that "If you want to be succesful, you must look succesful". I don't particularly want to buy him clothes or jewelry. I just want to get him something he'll enjoy. Thanks. Laterz.

Does he have a cell phone, if he does you could buy him an upgrade to his current provider, when he gets it he can just call them and tell them he has a new phone and they will activate it for him. It's something he'll use a for a long time and always a welcome gift.

Forget a material gift. Take him somewhere really cool. A good experience is always better and more memorable than a material gift. What does he like to do? Does he have any hobbies or passions?
