NAT or VPN?
For the last year or so, anyone that requested access to a machine on any network, I would always have use VPN and run a thin client over the connection such as Terminal Services or PCAnywhere.
I have had a request by a user to have access to a LAN granted by using NAT. I Know how to set this up but cant see any benefit s in doing so. I personally would prefer to set up a VPN rule that would give him access.
Can anyone suggest a reason for using NAT over VPN??
