    2nd Year at Uni Quandary?

Just finished my 1st year degree in computing and amidst choosing my second year options. I hated doing Java this year and really can't stand programming anything above HTML anyway. Just wondering what the field of database systems and systems analysis is like out there? I know it's a boring topic, but i'm doing it purely for the money.

Wanted to do something in hardware/components and internet technology as an enthusiast, but electronics and engineering isn't my cuppa tea. Rather do that in my spare time as a website reviewing hardware or something.
