    k6-2 350 run at 66mhz fsb

    Hello!
    I have bought a amd k6-2 350 CPU
Since my motherboard have not got 100mhz fsb, but have 2.2v voltage, I try to run it at 66 mhz.
But after counting the ram, the machine autoreboot, so I can not use it.
I want to know is the cpu only can run at 100mhz, or the cpu had damaged?
    Thank you!

I have a K6-2 and it runs at 66 just fine. Recheck your pin settings on the motherboard.

Yeah it should run at 66 with no problem. But you would not be the first person to have a K6-2 that wouldn't run on an older motherboard. I have two boards that support the core voltage but for some reason my K6-2 300 will not run on them - the same chip runs fine on a FIC 503+.
