Slow Shut Down
I have recently upgraded my system to an AMD K6-2 400MHz on an Asus P5-A with 256 MB of RAM, I have 2 IDE HDs on is a Fujitsu 8.4 gig, the other is a Seagate 6.5 gig, my boot drive is a Seagate Baracuda 9.1 SCSI running off a SCSIUlatra40 card, I also have an IDE CD-ROM and an HP 8110i IDE cd burner. The 2 cd drives are on secondary IDE with the cd-ROM as the master and the burner as the slave, the 2 HDs are on primary IDE with the 8.4 as the master and the 6.5 as slave. I also have a Diamond Viper V550 AGP and a Jayton 67-P to run dual monitors, along with an SB Live! Running with Windows98
Everytime I shut down my system the IDE LED stays on and then one of the CD LED's comes on then shuts off, then the IDE LED comes on again, and the burner's LED comes on and goes off, the the IDE LED comes on again, stays on for awhile then the system shuts down. This whole process takes about 5 minutes and is very annoying. I have the latest drivers and BIOS updates for all of my devices, any suggestions that anyone may have would be more than helpful.
