Using 2 CD-roms with 1 sound card
I have an AWE64 value and a HP 7200i CDRW and a LG 24X CD-ROM. My question is can I hook both of these sup to my sound card. 1 using a digital connection and the other using the analogue connecter. The AWE64 has both connecters and so does my CD-Rom.
Thanks in advance

You should be able to use the Aux in for one and CD in for the other. When using either unit be sure to check your audio rack to enable the volume level for each device. Or if you have the Windows speaker on your task bars right side just right click, then "open volume controls", this will bring up the mixer so that you can see the levels of each input. Watch as you switch between different devices that utilize the sound card. I had an issue where my modem volume got turned all the way down after utilizing game in DirectX6. No biggy, now that I know what was causing it.
