    Modem Problem

    I have a Wisecom Pro Accelerator 56K Int modem. It was taking multiple attempts to connect to my ISP but the connection speed was okay (38 - 49k).

    I downloaded new firmwate from the Wisecom website and now I connect on the first try but my connection speed is only 26.4k (I think I got to 28K once).

    Can anyone tell me what's going on? I'd appreciate any sage advice.

    These drivers don`t run with you modem try instaling old drivers back.
