    how to remove task scheduler in win98?

    Its loads everytime I bootup to win98. I want to know how to remove it.

    open application, select "advanced", select do not use task scheduler. or get out the plus 98 disk. type setup, select add/remove, selcect items you want removed. good luck.

    ok, use this instead of what the other guy told you to do. Go to Start, Run. Now type in MSConfig then click run. Scroll down the list and un-check the Task Scheduler. Click apply then you are all set, it will never bug you again. If you want to use it sometime in the future just do the same thing but check it. Good luck!

    I think P2man forgot to mention clicking on the STARTUP tab in the System Configuration Utility.
