can't run win98 off new ct-6btm motherboard
I'm using a chaintech ct-6btm motherboard, with my old hd, cd-rom, video, sound, modem from my old 430vx motherboard. I'm also using 2 pc100 64mb 8ns dimms. I've been able to access my hd, floppy, cd-rom, and attempted to install win98. Most of the time the install will crash (bad .cab, suwin page fault etc.). But I am able to install sometimes. WHen I do, I am never able to find a non-corrupt vmm32.vxd file. THen other errors in the SYSTEM.INI file occur. I've tried all rememdies on the microsoft page. Please help!
