Problem with CDROM and BH6
I just replaced my mobo with a BH6 and after I rebooted in win98 I now have strange CDROM problem. I have a Memorex 1622 CDRW as the only CDROM in the system. I Win98 CDR programs can access the CDROM fine. The problem is that Windows sees the CDROM fine but all CDs appear to be blank. This true for Explorer and all DOS prompts. does this sound like the NOIDE problem?

are you overclocking? i found that my cdrom wouldn't work at a FSB of 83MHz and would give me the same problems. you need to use a more conventional FSB or find a cdrom more tolerant of higher speeds. i heard asus cdroms are good for that, but no guarantees.
