Boot Problem

I recently put together a new system and was pulling parts from my other computer to put in the new system. When I went to put back in the old video card, I was in for a shock. When I went to boot up, there was no video signal. What happened? I checked the old card on my new system and it worked. I also tried my new Banshee card (PCI) in the old computer (it worked in there before) but nothing now. I have tried all the different PCI slots and rechecked each connection. I cannot even boot to get into the bios. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Make sure all your chips are seated firmly in place, check the pins in the connecter, check your power supply, check jumper settings for the BIOS.

Hook up the speaker and check for beeps ...
maybe your mem isn't seated...
Pull your HD cables and anything you don't need to boot.....
What's your mobo???
check the bios and boot from floppy first..
re-check your cable connections

Thanks guys for the help. I feel kind of like a newbie, I just had the IDE cable on backwards. Once again, thanks for reminding me that every little thing counts!
