    Web cam problem

Can anyone help me? I have just bought a no-name USB web cam and have a problem with it. All works okay at first but after about 5 minutes it stops working and the picture goes white. When I try to restart it says the device is in use when its cleary shut off. Sometimes I get a blue screen and it mentions a kernal 32 thing. This happens whether im on the net or not and the only way to make it work is a reboot.
I have a i200mmx, giga-byte vx, 64mb RAM, win98 and all the video and audio settings are at the lowest quality.
    Thanks in advance,
    spizz

go to connectix? and get the drivers.
Also, do you have an irq assigned to the usb?
I don't have the disk in front of me but if you need more you could email as I don't always go back to the same posts
