    Anyone use MS Virtual Desktop Manager?

    I downloaded it and liked it. But one thing I dislike is that it doesent play winamp video in the preview of all 4 screens.

    Do you guys use it? Like it?

    My first good video card (number 9 something) had this sort of thing built into its driver.
    I tried it then and found it to be slightly useful, but then forgot about it till now.
    Don't nVidia drivers let you do a similar thing?

    Hey! I just found out (after reading this thread) that my Matrox cards do this as well!

    You learn something every day.

    It looks pretty cool and useful though. It's like fast user switching without actually switching users.

    Naw I use the one supplied with ATI cards

    Called Hydravision

    But after a while it justs gets boring!

    Your right, it's allready geting boring for me. But I'll eventurally find a use for it espcally when multi tasking.

    Since we have an adsl connection my girlfriend and I use the same computer. Both of us have the tendency to leave open as many windows as possible, and we both like to build our own little working (yeah, right) environment.

    This feature, MultiDesk from Matrox in this case, is just the thing for that. You can simply switch between desktops at the push of a shortkey, and each can have his own set of open applications and window positions. The desktop itself, with icons and stuff, is the same though.

    Yeah urdy but it doesnt have an inbuilt "hide porn site window from girlfriend" facility!
