    Soundcard conflicting

I have been running on windows 95 for 3 years now. I have never had a problem with my sound card until i bought my new 56i Diamond Supra modem (internal). My modem uses IRQ 5 and so does my Vibra 16 soundcard. I also have a printer allocated to IRQ 7. Does anybody know how i can overcome this problem so that i can connect to the internet using my current modem settings and also listen to audio. I would appreciate any tips.
PS: - I have in the last 2 days upgraded to Windows 98, and have obviously still have the same problem
    Cheers
    Andy

You'll have to put the modem on another irq. The soundcard is quite selective when it comes to irq's. And you can do this by reserving an irq in your bios for isa slots.
I suggest you reserve 5 (sound) and if possible for modem 8 or so..... then put the modem's irq on 8 and should work
