    Upgrade of OSR2 to OSR2.5

    How can I udgrade my windows95 with OSR2 to windows95 with OSR2.5? If patches are there for it, where can I find it?

    The basic differences are Internet explorer 4.0 and USB support, with UDMA support being in the Other /Updates folder of the CDROM. I have both OSR2 and OSR 2.5 CDs and an interesting thing is that if you do not let the OSR 2.5 CD install continue to install IE 4.0 then it leaves you with Windows95 and IE 2.0 - which leaves me to believe that perhaps OSR 2.0 has a more recent version of Windows?? OSR2 Win95b has always been more stabel for me, I just use the updates for USB and UDMA from OSR2.5 and I install IE4.01 without the interactive desktop stuff.

    Really, you are not missing much between the two.
