MS Certification
Ok, the time has come where I finally get my finger out and get MS certified. I'm going to be doing this off my own back, and consequently won't go to any of the training courses, just self study and exams.
I'm starting with exams 70-210 and 70-270 (the Win 2k Pro and XP Pro exams) and have a lot of experience supporting/installing/administering both, so will try to just get exam study/prep guides and then fill any gaps with other books.
What I want to know is which exam guides are the best for these exams? I ideally want example questions with explanations should I get stuff wrong etc. What do you already certified guys recommend for this? When I get to the servers, I'll get study guides too, but for now I reckon exam prep guides are the way to go.
Any advise greatly appreciated guys!

There are some excellent mcse ALT newsgroups that discuss this kind of thing all the time - sites, books, cost of exams, etc. They have mcse in the name. So, if you found out their names, you could search through the contents via Google Groups.

I referred the Sybex books, I did only one cert MCP(2kpro). Then changed tracks and went for a CCNA....on my way for CCNP.
Since i couldn't invest a lot in h/w & s/w, i joined a training institute and used their labs extensively for practicals, except for CCNA ...got a good helping hand from a CCIE.
Get hold of some exam simulators....they are very handy imo.

I just felt it was kinda easy passing both exams.Took me 1 month to prepare for both cert's.
you just need the right material and questions do get repeated a lot.
Good Luck!

Hail to the Victors
G...PM me when you get a chance.
Not sure if I can mention a site or two on these boards....But I think they may help.
210 was pretty easy...215 was a little tougher!
