    Linksys befsr41 lock up

I have read that this is a common problem with this router. Last time it locked up on me I got so frustrated the thing went in the closet,,,,pulled it out 3 months later, and it worked!!
Now again it has locked up on me again. Have reset the thing many many times, but still will not connect to the internet. Connection is fine going throught the modem, but will not connect using the router. \
Running window xp with fairly new pc. Very frustrating. I need help. Should I just throw the thing away and buy another brand? I am about to this point. Thanks for any suggestions or helpl.

Linksys is good. Just time to buy a new one. They don't last forever.

Yeah - I have two here. When one gives me grief, I switch. By the time the 2nd goes haywire, the first is ready for service again!

I have one of those and the only time it gives me trouble is when the power bumps, then it locks. A simple reset usually fixes it. However, I'm lazy, so, I put the power supply on a UPS along with the one for the cable modem and the linksys switch I also have, I no longer have lockups, ever!
