Error on Bootup from ATI Card
I just did a fresh install of Windows XP Professional. I then immediately installed the software that came with my graphics card, an ATI Radeon.
Now, on bootup, I receive a little pop-up message that says:
ATIsServ failed to provide required interfaces!
BTW, I installed the drivers on a previously for this card from ATI's website itself. Whenever I played Madden 2004, it would crash the whole system during gameplay.
Did you reinstall the mobo/chipset drivers? You'd be surprised how many people forget.
Though that doesn't mean I am not one of "those people" It's actually becuase I was one of those people that I don't forget anymore
Have you checked for updated ATI drivers?
Judging purely by the nature of the message you posted, you might try cleaning the contacts and reseating the card!
Checked for update drivers. Same message.
Also, I did take it out and reseat it... a config thing perhaps?
