Boot Problem
On this laptop I reinstalled WinXP Pro over the old WinXP Pro because I couldnt reformat and it had a lot of problems so it had to be redone, so I installed a fresh copy of XP Pro over the old one.
I only have one problem now. When you turn the computer on to start it you have to pick which OS you want to boot up, it says...

Please select the operating system to start:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice. Press ENTER to choose.
For troubleshooting and advanced startup options for Windows, press F8.

Now, if you choose the 1st one, it boots up into XP fine. The 2nd one shouldnt be there (you shouldnt have to choose in the 1st place).
When you choose the 2nd one it says...
"Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware. Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information."
Then you just go back to the last screen and choose the 1st one to boot up into WinXP Pro, without a problem.
My question is, how can I get rid of this, so that you do not have to choose which one you want to boot?
Thank you
