    XP backup disks

    I need to make backup disks of XP ,,, I think its 6 disks or 1 CD ,,, How do u do it ? tnks John

    The 6 floppies are just for starting XP setup. They cannot hold enough data.

    WinXP, once installed, takes up much more that the space of one CD. You can't fit it there either.

    What you need is an extra hard drive (or you can partition/split your present drive) and use something like Norton Ghost to back up your setup to another drive/partition. Highly recommended.

    Ok tnks ,, i saw that 6 disk backup ,,, guess it threw me off

    You can back up to CDs with Norton ghost; it takes about 6 (+-) for your entire computer. I would recommend using ghost either way. A second hard drive to back up to would be nice.
