Crashing in various games
Whenever I am playing a game, the newly-built PC here just crashes. In the sense of crashing I mean, my all video output ceases (the little light on my monitor turns from green to yellow), the last tenth of a second of sound repeats itself over and over indefinately, and nothing can be done but reset. Here's what my PC is atm:
CPU: P4 2.60C
M/B: Intel D875PBZ
Vid card: Geforce FX 5600 w/ 256mb VRAM (from PNY)
Sound: Sound Blaster Live!
Hard Drive: generic (pulled from my last Dell) 40 GB
My Vid, sound, and HDD were all on an old Dell and worked perfectly fine together then, so I have no clue what's going on right now. Anyone that can help plz do >_<

The easiest thing to do is completely uninstall all video and sound drivers and then reinstall fresh versions. It worked for me.

Did you have a problem that was as bad as mine or a simple crash-to-desktop?

Same thing - lockup and echos.
