    Suse 9.1 no Make?

im trying to install two programs from source but when it type "make" or "make install" it tells me that make is not a command.

Does Suse not have the make funtion?
How else can I install the program?

the other programs installed with out a problem because they hade a make file and I just had to change dir and typs ./install.

SuSE Linux 9.0 has an installer that installs the program from the CD just like Windows XP. You just boot from the CD. If the computer won't boot from the CD, enter the BIOS and make the CD-Rom drive the first boot device.
